One of seven children, he was born October 21, 1950, in Aberdeen, to John and Roberta Holman.
‘Bob’, as he was known by many friends and family, was a hard working logger who passed along his love for the woods and skills to his sons. He worked many years for Fred B. Moe Logging Company, Zepp Logging Company and others.
He loved; fishing from his boat on the ocean, river fishing at his favorite fish shack, hunting with close friends and his sons, clam digging with all his kids, time spent relaxing, washing his truck, mowing his lawn, and cooking. One of his favorite traditions was cooking Christmas breakfast for his children. The most precious things in his life were his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Holman and Roberta Witt, his sister, Jeanne Simmons.
Bob is survived by his three brothers, John, Jeff and Chris; two sisters, Mary and Laurie; daughter, Dodie and Luke Brogan of Elma; sons, Brad and Tonya Holman of Longview, Scott and Alexa Holman of Centralia; five grandchildren, Whittney, Darren, Kylie, Tyler and Garrett; great grandchild, Statham and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Oakville Assembly of God and the Oakville Volunteer Fire Department.
Dad, we loved you yesterday, love you still, always have, always will. Rest in Peace with all our love.
