Fred Albee Turner Sr.

Fred Albee Turner Sr., age 92, a resident of Central, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021. Fred was a master brick mason who owned his own business for many years. He enjoyed gardening, always shared his produce with everyone, owned and trained race horses, and was a handyman who was resourceful in all ways. He never remarried after the passing of his beloved wife, Mildred Turner. Fred was a loving and devoted father and husband. He believed in working hard and getting it right. Fred was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Martin Turner; parents, Mary W. Turner and Eddie O. Turner, Sr.; brother, Eddie Turner, Jr.; sister, Brunetta Turner; grandsons, Michael Adam Turner and Christopher James Reed; and great-grandson, Seth Joseph Turner.

He is survived by his daughter, Anita Lynn Turner; son, Fred Albee Turner, Jr. (Melody); daughter, Brenda Morris (Michael); son, Ted Turner; grandchildren, Jason Reed (Heather) ; Fred Turner, III, Troy Turner (Sara) and 10 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Central Funeral Home, 9995 Hooper Rd, Central, LA from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm with the service beginning at 2:00 pm. Interment will immediately follow at Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery.
