Mark E. Testori

Mark Edward Testori of New London died peacefully surrounded by his family on June 29th, 2023 at Yale New Haven Hospital after a brief illness. Mark was born in Hartford on Jan. 2, 1957, and was the son of the late Edward and Claire Testori. He attended East Catholic High School in Manchester. His marriage to Karen (Cone) Testori ended in divorce. Mark was a handyman and jack of all trades who could fix anything. He worked for the past 15 years as building manager and sexton of The First Congregational Church of Old Lyme.

Mark is survived by his children, daughter, Andrea Dollinger, a son, Mark Edward Testori, Jr. (TJ), stepdaughter, Melissa (Mark) Ricciardi and siblings, Carol Testori Elwood (Guy), Janice Testori Greene, Scott Testori (Jacqui), Mark also leaves a cherished granddaughter, Frankie Dollinger, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Mark was a lifelong fan of rock and roll music, sports, NASCAR, cooking, good bourbon, riding his Harley-Davidson along the shoreline of CT and storytelling. We shall all miss his devotion to his work, his good cheer, sense of humor and his colorful stories.

A memorial service will be held at the First Congregational Church of Old Lyme on July 9th at 3 pm with reception on the front lawn. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: FCCOL, 2 Ferry Road, Old Lyme, CT. 06371.
