Thomas Francis Stanley, a proud Marine veteran and beloved resident of Parker, Colorado, passed away on May 2nd, 2024, at the age of 83. Born on September 17, 1940, in Altoona, PA. Thomas lived a life filled with honor, service, and devotion to his country and family.
After graduating from St. Francis High School (Denver) in 1958, Thomas answered the call to serve his nation and enlisted in the United States Marines, where he served at Camp Pendleton, San Diego, Thailand and Hawaii. He exemplified bravery and commitment throughout his service. Upon returning home, he joined the Denver Cathedral Club and continued his journey by marrying his sweetheart, Robbie Stanley, in 1966. Together, they built a life centered around love, respect, and family values.
Thomas and Robbie were blessed with two wonderful daughters, Christine and Lisa, who were the center of his world. He took great pride in their accomplishments and cherished every moment spent with them. His greatest joy came from being a grandfather to his four grandchildren: Megan Skala, Dylan Skala, Taylor Weinrich, and Cole Weinrich. Their laughter and love brought immense happiness to his life.
Thomas is survived by his devoted wife, Robbie Stanley, his loving daughters Christine and Lisa, his adored grandchildren, and his siblings: Eileen Stanley (Sharon Sanders), Dick (Nancy Stanley), Carole (Karl) Smith, and Joe Stanley. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Winnie Stanley, his brother Bill Stanley, and his sister Theresa Kline.
Thomas will be remembered for his unwavering patriotism, his strong sense of duty, and his unconditional love for his family. His legacy of honor and sacrifice will continue to inspire generations to come.
Thomas Francis Stanley will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in eternal peace.
A Celebration Of Life will be held at the PACE Center in Parker, CO on June 22nd, 2024 from 11am-2pm. Military Honors will be presented at 11:30 a.m.
