Mike was born in Mesa, Arizona to Thomas and Kay Blodgett. The family moved to Colorado in 1970, where Mike lived until his passing.
Over the years, Mike enjoyed skiing, camping, and mountain biking. He loved a good political debate and music, especially the Beatles. Mike also enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Blodgett and Kay Chilcoat; grandmother, Ellen McCabe; step-father, Don Chilcoat; and uncle, Jack Blodgett.
Mike is survived by his two brothers, Greg (Lori) Blodgett and Pat Blodgett; sister, Melissa (Mike) Bates; step-mother, Sandra Blodgett; aunt, Linda Blodgett; step-brother, Deryle Chilcoat; and nieces and nephews, Amber (Ethan) Tubbs, Amanda Blodgett, Mitchell Bates, Sarah Bates and Ryan Bates.
Mike was a kind, genuine man and will be missed immensely by his family and friends.
Mike’s final resting place is Olinger Chapel Cemetery in Centennial, Colorado. A private service is being held on August 2, 2024.
