2/3/55 – 2/3/13
Terri, of Highlands Ranch, passed away at her home on her birthday at the age of 58, following her gallant nine month battle against cancer. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, February 7, at 2:00 at the Olinger Chapel on Colorado Blvd., located just north of Arapahoe. The Service will be conducted by Father George Berlin with the eulogy presented by Jay Castro, her brother-in-law. Born 2/3/55 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Frank and Mary Stratton, she met Craig Miller while attending Arizona State University and married August 21, 1976. She is survived by her three children; Kyle, Brett and Kathryn, and her husband Craig. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution in Terri’s memory to The Cat Care Society at 5787 W. 6th Ave., Lakewood, CO 80214. Both of her beloved cats, Maxey and Roxy, were adopted from there.
Terri was very active with her children and loved to travel. Her favorite destinations were coastal destinations in California and where she was raised in the Valley of the Sun. Her daughter is currently finishing her studies at ASU. Kyle is an Associate Private Banker at Morgan Stanley and Brett is a Lead Engineer at Raytheon. Both her sons reside in the Denver area. Terri was an active student of cooking and was constantly seeking new meal challenges to prepare for family and friends. Anyone who knew Terri got to enjoy this favorite hobby. Prior to being slowed down by her battle against cancer, she actively jogged on the Highland Canal, always accompanied by her dog Kali.
