Patricia A. Jonsrud

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia “Pat” Jonsrud, who left us peacefully on November 16th, 2024, with her beloved husband, Thomas Jonsrud, and grandson, Chaz, by her side. Pat was 84 years old.

Patricia was born on May 7th, 1940 of Frank and Esther Bowman in Denver, Colorado, and she spent her adult life devoted to her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Thomas Jonsrud; her children, Danny (Maria) Jonsrud and Dennis (Tracy) Jonsrud; her cherished grandchildren, Daniel (Lavonne) Jonsrud, Ryan (Brooke) Jonsrud, Charles Jonsrud, and Shea (Branden) Gale; and her precious great-grandchildren, Riyah, Elias, Elliot, and Oakley.

Pat’s life was marked by her unwavering love and dedication to her family, being the glue that held her family together. A devoted mother and grandmother, she was an integral part of raising her children and grandchildren, always making sure there was a warm meal on the table and an open heart in the home. Throughout her life, she volunteered in her community, particularly at local schools during recess, where her kindness and generosity made a lasting impact.

A woman of immense strength and an infectious sense of humor, Pat had a gift for making those around her laugh, no matter the circumstances. Her Sundays were spent at church, and her evenings were often enjoyed in front of the TV, always ready for the next episode of her favorite program. But it was her genuine care for others that truly defined her. Pat made friends wherever she went and loved deeply, always willing to lend an ear or a helping hand to those in need.

Grandma Pat will be missed beyond measure by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to be touched by her warmth.

A celebration of her life will be held on December 7th, 2024 at Englewood First Presbyterian Church, 3500 S. Logan Street, Englewood, CO 80113, with a reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Englewood First Presbyterian Church in her honor.

Pat’s memory will forever be cherished, and she will always be remembered with love.
