Her Earthly life came to a close peacefully in her sleep when she went to her eternal home on December 8, 2022, in Centennial, Colorado at age 96.

She transferred to Denver, Colorado in 1970 and later married Bill Morris on April 20, 1975. She retired in 1985 at the young age of 59 and enjoyed her family, learning, singing, dancing, jewelry making, needle point and her collection of rocks. She also held other miscellaneous jobs during her retirement that she called her FUN money.
