Nashat Fahmy Fanos, age 58, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, passed away on November 23, 2022.
Nash was a devoted father of Julian and Hannah Fanos and enjoyed skiing, walking, listening to music, watching sports, and being with his children. Nash’s siblings are Lotfy Fanous, Kamillia Fanous, Hayat Fanous, Nabil Fanous, Nabila Fanous, and Medhat Fanous. Nash will be dearly missed by Hannah and Julian Fanos. Nash was married for 20 years to Lana Fanos.
He attended Ain Shams Medical University in Egypt and University of Kansas School of Medicine for a fellowship in geriatrics. He was a member of Saint Mark's Coptic Orthodox Church. Nash practiced medicine as an internal medicine physician with Critical Care and Pulmonary consultants from 2004-2017. He was the chair of the inpatient service line at the Medical Center of Aurora from 2015-2017. Nash was also the hospitalist medical director at Kindred Hospital from 2019-2020.
