Jean Edith Dalton, age 87, of Arvada, Colorado passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019. Jean was born August 22, 1931 to Julia Florence (Masters) Crouse and Cecil Raymond Crouse in Denver, Colorado. She is preceded in death by her parents; her sons, Dale Dalton and David Dalton; and her sister-in-law, Thelma Phillips.
Jean Dalton was very strong in her faith. God was first, family and friends were next. She always was busy sewing and making things for someone or the babies at church or Avista Hospital. Jean loved her family with her whole heart. She enjoyed spending time in the mountains fishing, hiking with friends or family, and camping. Jean was a great cook and loved to prepare big meals for family celebrations. We love you, Mom and miss you a ton!
Jean is survived by her daughter, Linda (John) Grudle of Westminster, CO; and sons, Lee (Vickie) Dalton of Littleton, CO and Michael (Becky Otteni) Dalton of Thornton, CO; her daughter-in-law, Karen Markowski; her grandchildren, Jason (Mindy) Grudle of Denver, CO, Joshua Grudle of Thornton, CO, Dylan (Melanie) Dalton of Tampa, FL, Lonny (Mary-Lynn) Dalton of Littleton, CO, Larrissa (Don) Smith of St. Petersburg, FL, Anna (Steve) Whitesell of Highlands Ranch, CO, and Lillee Dalton of Thornton, CO; her great grandchildren, Caitlyn Grudle of Denver, CO, Jacob Grudle of Loveland, CO, Hope Grudle & Tessa Grudle of Thornton, CO, Daize Dalton & Nixon Dalton of Tampa, FL, Lacey Dalton & Lachlan Dalton of Littleton, CO, Cassidy Smith of St. Petersburg, FL and Audrey Whitesell of Highlands Ranch, CO; and will be missed by many other loving family and friends.
A Visitation for Jean will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121. A Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 am, Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Bear Valley Church of Christ, 2707 South Lamar St, Denver, CO 80227. A Committal Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery.
