She was preceded in death by her husband Lyndon ‘Larry’ Lindsey in 2006 and her parents, Morton Glen Chamberlain and Nevah Louise Chamberlain.
GaDawn met her husband in Lindsay, Oklahoma and moved to Little Rock, Arkansas after her daughters were born. They then moved to Aurora, Colorado where she raised her three daughters. She was a homemaker until her daughters were in high school, when she worked at a collectible store, Stove Ltd, for 10 years. After her husband retired, they moved from Aurora, Colorado to Trinidad, Colorado and lived until her husband passed away. She then moved to Texas and lived with her daughter, Kristi.
GaDawn enjoyed cooking and canning early on making homemade jellies and zucchini relish. She especially loved cooking with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren when they were very young. She also enjoyed crafting and sewing. She loved traveling and belonged to an RV Camping Club with her husband and traveled the United States. They enjoyed the camping club rallies and many places they visited. Her daughters took her on many trips to special places with the last one being Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. She was asked where she wanted to go for Mother’s Day in 2023 and she said she wanted to walk on the boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Her daughters made it happen and will always remember that special trip with their mom.
