It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dale Eugene Mueller. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a fun-loving grandfather, and a pillar of strength in our family. Dale departed this world on June 19, 2023 after a long battle with cancer, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering faith.
Born on October 29th, 1952 in Hiawatha, Kansas, Dale lived a life full of joy and purpose. He was a man of integrity and honor, exemplifying the virtues of an Eagle Scout throughout his journey. Dale embraced the values instilled in him during his scouting years and carried them throughout his life, inspiring all who knew him.
In addition to his many accomplishments, it is important to note that after a long and successful career with AT&T, Lucent and Avaya, Dale embarked on a new chapter by starting his own company, TIPS Resources. Dale poured his heart and soul into building the company, and his hard work paid off as TIPS Resources thrived under his guidance. Dale took great pride in the success of his business, which served as a testament to his leadership, determination and entrepreneurial spirit.
As a father, Dale was a guiding light for his three sons, Brent (Audrey), Shane (Liz), and Austin. He led by example, teaching them the importance of honesty, compassion, perseverance, and a comprehensive to-do list. His willingness to help with any project and unconditional love shaped their lives and will continue to guide them in the years to come.
Papa, as he was affectionately known, adored his role as a grandpa. He cherished the precious moments spent with his grandchildren, playing on the floor or running through the sprinklers with them, watching them grow, play soccer, and swim for countless hours. His love and support were boundless.
Above all else, Dale cherished his role as a devoted husband. His marriage to Peggy was a testament to the enduring power of love and partnership. Together, they built a life filled with shared dreams, unwavering support, and countless cherished memories. Their love stood as a shining example to us all.
One of Dale's greatest joys in life was the beauty of a breathtaking view. Whether it was camping in the Colorado wilderness, hiking a 14er, or traveling to National Parks with his beloved camper, he found solace and peace in the quiet of nature. He was always eager to experience the beauty of God’s creation through the adventure of the outdoors - skiing, biking and learning to sail his hobie cat. His appreciation for the Rocky Mountains, and a magnificent view, reminded us all to pause, reflect, and find joy in life's simplest treasures.
During difficult times, Dale turned to his unwavering faith for comfort and strength. He found solace in the words of Scripture, and one verse that resonated deeply with him was found in Proverbs 3: 5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." It was this scripture that guided him through his own trials and served as a beacon of hope.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Christ Body Ministry (www.christsbody.org/) or Prostate Cancer Foundation (www.pcf.org).
We extend our deepest gratitude to all who have expressed their condolences and offered support during this difficult time.
