Chad Allen Barton

Chad Allen Barton of Littleton, Colorado, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024, at the age of 45. Chad was born on August 5, 1979, in Aurora, Colorado, and grew up in Englewood, where he cherished his childhood and created many fond memories.

Chad graduated from Englewood High School in 1997, he worked in many different jobs over the years, but his most fulfilling role was as a devoted homemaker. Chad loved nothing more than making a warm and welcoming home for his children. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, and he was happiest when he could share those moments with loved ones, creating a safe and loving environment for his kids.

Chad found peace and joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially outdoor activities. Whether it was camping or fishing, Chad loved being in nature, especially when he could share those experiences with his family and friends.

Chad faced many health challenges in recent years that kept him mostly homebound for over three years. Despite these setbacks, Chad remained resilient, always working hard to improve his health. This year, with the support of his family, friends, and his own determination he was able to purchase a small camping trailer and return to the family property in Granby, Colorado, where he spent time camping and fishing with his beloved children, Aiden and Bella. These precious moments were a testament to his strength and love for his family, and we are deeply grateful for the time he had.

Chad was preceded in death by his parents, John and Linda Barton, as well as all of his grandparents, great-grandparents, and many extended family members.

He is survived by his children, Aiden and Bella Barton; his siblings, sister Angela Conner-Sandoval, and brother Allen Barton (Heather); numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, his only remaining aunt, Linda Prince, and many cousins.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mandy Moreno and John Smith, whose care, compassion, and friendship provided Chad with incredible support in his final days. Their love and kindness were a true gift to Chad and to our entire family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 6601 South Colorado Blvd., Centennial, CO 80121, on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 1:30 PM. In honor of Chad please arrive in tie-dye or brightly colored clothing.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Chad’s honor be made to a charity of your choice.
