Catherine Ann Meade

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Mary Vaughn, infant brother Michael David, and brother Lenny. She is survived by her husband Patrick; her daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Bryan Neal; her granddaughters, Isabella Valdez and Adrianna Valdez; sisters, Patricia Lamoreaux, Marie Raimondi, and Mary Ellen C. Britton; brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Kelly Meyer; sister-in-law Mary Meade Streier; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Jack and Ellie Meade; many nieces and nephews; and her feline friends, Sonny and Rosie.

Cathy was born and raised in Somerville, New Jersey. She entered the U.S. Navy after high school and served two years in Florida and California. She relocated to Minneapolis, MN where she met Pat, and they were married in 1987. Cathy worked as a legal secretary in Minneapolis. She and Pat moved to Littleton, Colorado in 2014 to be near their daughter and granddaughters. They were blessed to be able to spend a great deal of time with “the girls” as they grew from grade-schoolers to college students. Cathy and Pat also traveled extensively, with several trips to Europe and Hawaii, Cathy’s earthly paradise. She is now on eternal vacation in her heavenly paradise.

Cathy was a loving wife, a caring mother, a doting grandmother, and a bossy, big sister. We will all miss her but feel better for her being part of our lives.

A Celebration of Life funeral Mass will be held at a later date to be posted on the Olinger Funeral Home website. Any donations in her memory may be made to your local food bank.
