To Bob's family.
Bob and I started emailing a couple of years ago. We both had attended Marysville Junior High, Marysville, Washington.In fact, I had the lead in "Anne of Green Gables" while Bob was Gilbert. We were very dear friends as was his dear mother and brother, Dickie. Bob had many talents: tennis,trombone in band,and being a charming young man. Enjoyed renewing our friendship,sharing gardening tips, and our families' news. Admired him always. You are all so blessed to have had such a wonderful father, grandfather, leader. 
Will miss him and our correspondence. Blessings to you all.

Mary Beth my condolences to you and your family. I just learned of your Father's passing and my thoughts and prayers are with you. Your Dad was a very nice man who was always interesting and who I really enjoyed and appreciated.

I never met Bob personally. We had an ocean in between but we managed to do some croiwncap trading and some mails concerning crowncaps and the CCSI magazine. But even thru distance I  felt like he was the kind of grandparent I never had (both of them died before I was born) and I feel like if a small part of me is gone with him. Fly nwith the angels and play chess with St Peter, Bob!

While I never knew Bob well, I knew and loved his daughter Ruth most of my life. I still do. Her loss is my loss, and I send my love and condolences to Ruth and all those who knew and loved her father...

My deepest condolences to the Raven family and friends. I knew Bob through the CCSI and I remember him to be a man of wisdom, intelligence and passion. While he may be missed he will not be forgotten.

Ruth and Mary Beth. - I just heard that your dad passed. I'm so sorry. Although it's been a long while, I always enjoyed talking to him - discussing his collections, politics, chess, Russian language (Admittedly, I did not know much about the last two, but your dad always humored me!).

My deepest condolences to Bob's family.  Please find comfort in one another and through fond memories of a truly wonderful and gracious man.  At the annual CrownVention it was a joy to see Bob make the trip to appear year after year.  Bob will be deeply missed.

A beautiful video tribute to a beautiful man. We will miss you Bob Raven. You live on in our memories and your example. To me, you personify the gentle man.

Members of Crowncap Collectors Society International (CCSI) offer their condolences to the Raven family. Our kind, generous, intelligent collector friend will be sorely missed, especially by those who met with Bob regularly at our annual convention near Harrisburg. He will never be forgotten.

To Ruth and Mary Beth,We here at Dr Millers are so sorry about your dad.If there is anything we can do please call us.He was an amazing man and very witty and charming and we just appreciated his sense of humor.
