Edgar Ray Brady

On September 8, 2013, EDGAR R. BRADY passed away. Born in 1922, he was a scrappy kid from West Baltimore. Life changed forever when he married his devoted wife of 61 years, Ramona Brady, who has been awaiting his return to her to continue their marriage for time and all eternity in our Father’s Kingdom. At the age of 90, he left this earth a successful businessman and member of the LDS Church.

Edgar is survived by his loving and devoted daughter Kathleen, sons Shawn and Jimmie, brothers Richard and George and sister Ruth Allen, eleven grandchildren and thirty-one great grandchildren. Edgar left behind a legacy of hard work, love and an attitude of forgiveness towards all. “Judge not lest ye be judged,” was a scripture he exemplified.

Family will receive friends on Friday, September 13 from 3-5 & 7-9 P.M. at STERLING-ASHTON-SCHWAB-WITZKE FUNERAL HOME OF CATONSVILLE, INC., 1630 Edmondson Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228. Funeral services are Saturday, September 14 at 10 A.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Chapel, 4100 St. John’s Lane, Ellicott City, MD 21042. Interment following services at Loudon Park Cemetery, 3620 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Alzheimer's Association, 1850 York Road, Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093 or American Cancer Society, 8219 Town Center Drive, Baltimore, Maryland 21236.
