Mr. Charles R Serio

Mr. Charles R Serio, age 93, of Catonsville, Maryland passed away on Monday, October 4, 2022. Charles was born March 13, 1929. He was the beloved son of the late Sam and Jenny (nee) Glorioso Serio. Beloved husband of Gloria (nee Grott) Serio; devoted father of Jennie Hrivnak, Veronica Serio and Maria Scarcella and husband John. He was predeceased by a son Samuel "Sam" Serio. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

He was the last of his immediate family and was predeceased by his brothers and sisters; Vince, Joe, Tony, Sam, John, Concetta, Anna and Mary.

He worked with his brothers at the renown "Sam Serio and Son's Fruit and Produce Business" at Lexington Market.

A visitation for Charles will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sterling-Ashton-Schwab-Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Ave, Catonsville, MD 21228. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St Josephs Monastery, 3801 Old Frederick Rd, Baltimore, MD 21229. A committal service will occur Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at New Cathedral Cemetery, 4300 Old Frederick Rd., Baltimore, MD 21229.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN. 38015
