It is with an extremely sad heart that I inform everyone that Bob Rafferty was tragically murdered in the family's Castle Rock, CO home on February 23rd together with his sister-in-law Amara Wells. Amara was extremely close to all of the extended Rafferty family. Although the details are still limited, what we have been told is that Bob was a true hero that night.

For those of you who know Bob, you know that he was absolutely a one of a kind man in so many ways. He was an exceptional and admired husband, father, friend and professional. More than anything though, Bob was simply an incredible human being. He was one of those rare individuals that you found yourself continuing to gain more respect and love for, the more time you spent with him. I often marveled at Bob's incredible natural ability to make friends with total strangers in any setting and his ability to put people at ease almost immediately. I would ask each of you to pray for the Rafferty family, who loved Bod so deeply.
