She left her earthly body Saturday, December 1, 2018, from Larkspur, Colorado after her five-year battle with cancer.
She was 66 years young.
She leaves the love of her life, husband, Phil Smith and daughter, Nicole Burnet and her husband John Burnet.
Their son, Bryan Smith, preceded her passing. Two grandchildren Claire and David Burnet will continue being her great joy.
She is survived by her Father and Mother, James T. and Anna Woods.
Lynne leaves behind so many family members and friends who love her and will miss her greatly.
Lynne’s sisters, June Canfield, Jeannie Hurlbut and Amy Treece look forward to rejoining her on the next “Sister Trip” in heaven.
She had an insatiable appetite for learning; assistant editor for the Eunice press, degrees in public relations and masters in education. She worked in the Elizabeth School District for Eight years. She was also a business entrepreneur and real estate agent, and a writer.
