Denise “Dee” Maureen Sternberg, 76, of Castle Rock, Colorado, passed away on February 4, 2024. A memorial mass for Denise will be held Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2746 5th St, Castle Rock, Colorado 80104.
Dee was born October 3, 1947 in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of Eugene and Martha Ahern. Dee lived in many states throughout her life. She had a love for her children, grandchildren and teaching.
Dee was preceded in death by, her sons: Eric and Mark Sternberg and brother, Terry Ahern. She was survived by her daughter, Aimee (Terry) Kyriss; daughter in law, Danielle Sternberg; Grandchildren: Presley (Ben) Stratman, Paxton & Parker Sternberg, Colton & Kinley Kyriss, 3 Great-grandchildren; brothers: Kevin (Emilee) Ahern and John Ahern, and sister Christy (Sheldon) Brown; as well as many nieces and nephews.
