Ben was born in Denver, Colorado on March 25, 1975. He graduated from Douglas County High School and received his Exercise Sport Science degree from Colorado State University. Ben had a successful 22-year career in telecommunications. Ben’s biggest passion in life was fly fishing. He loved his annual trips to Montana with his friends. He was always humbled and honored to volunteer to teach others to fly fish through Reel Recovery.
Ben was married to Jenny Kristina (Baker) Frueh on August 18, 2001, his love and affection for his wife was endless. Ben was a proud and loving father of his two sons, TJ and Rylan. Every milestone and success in the boys’ lives brought Ben so much joy and fulfillment.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Justin Frueh. Ben is survived by his wife, Jenny; sons, TJ and Rylan; parents, Kent and Judy Frueh; mother in-law, Sharon Young; father in-law, Quentin Baker and mother in-law, Pam Baker; grandmother, Jeanne Frueh; brother in-law, Neil Baker and sister in-law, Trish Baker; a niece and nephew and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life for Ben will be held Monday, December 18, 2023 at 6:00 PM at Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson Chapel, 407 Jerry Street, Castle Rock, Colorado 80104, followed by a fellowship and lite reception at 7:00 PM.
