

Alma Mae Farrell, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother,sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2025 at the age of 80. She was a cherished member of the Maricopa, Arizona community and a guiding light to all who knew her.
Alma’s greatest joys in life were her faith, family, and community. She was a devoted member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, where she found everlasting sisterhood and service. She valued her lifelong commitment to education as a Teacher, Administrator, and School Superintendent. Alma encouraged those around her to pursue knowledge and growth. In her later years, she found great enjoyment in staying connected with loved ones through Facebook, sharing wisdom, laughter, and love.
She is survived by her children, Edward J. Farrell and Jocelyn Farrell-Parks, both of Maricopa, Arizona; her sisters, Belinda McCullough and brother-in-law, Robert McCullough of Tempe, Arizona, and Barbara Mitchell of Casa Grande, Arizona; sister-in-law, Edna Davis of Velma, Oklahoma; her treasured grandchildren: Luke Farrell, Selah Farrell, Madison Byrd, Codey Byrd, Cydnee Byrd, David Parks, Cutter Parks, and Tanner Parks. She also leaves behind her adored great-grandchild, Braxton Smith, and Olivia Miller. Alma was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Jay Farrell; her mother, Dora Loeffelholz; her stepfather, Billy Mitchell; and her sister, Billy Jean Mavis.
Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith will be dearly missed but forever remembered.
Services will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church at 18700 N St Gabriel Way, Maricopa, AZ 85138
Visitation at 10:00 a.m. with a Rosary 10:30 a.m. and a Mass 11:00 a.m
