Tina Bagwell Arnold

Tina was born on July 27, 1941, the only child of Raymond Willard and Juanita Warner Bagwell who preceded her in death. She grew up in the Swift Creek community and graduated from Cary High School.

Tina enjoyed a long career with IBM and retired after 30 years of service. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed helping her daughter, Sharon at her meal assembly and catering business until her declining health made it too difficult. She loved spending time at the beach at her second home in Pine Knoll Shores, NC.

Tina was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her greatest joy was her family, particularly her two grandchildren Hayley and Wesley. She delighted in spending time with them and often said that being a grandmother was the greatest job in the world.

She is survived by her husband Robert J. Arnold of Cary, NC; daughter, Sharon Freeman Albrecht (and husband, Tom) of New Hill, NC; grandchildren, Hayley Morgan and Wesley Thomas Albrecht; and aunts, Christine Dover and Eva Jones both of Raleigh.

A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Macedonia United Methodist Church in Cary where she was a lifelong member. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary. Burial will be in Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh.
