She is survived by Geoff Fair, her children, Jennifer (Bennett) and Jamie (Heather), her five grandchildren, Henry, Luke, Josephine, Hazel and Logan, and her parents, Sally and John Gardner.
Suzanne was predeceased by her sisters, Sheryl Gardner and Carolyn Gardner.
Suzanne had a good heart and kind spirit, which was reflected by a wide network of people in Canada and the US who cared about her deeply.
A visitation will be held this Thursday, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 Southeast Maynard Road, Cary, NC.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Ottawa Hospital and the Canadian Cancer Society or The V Foundation for Cancer Research.
Another celebration of life will be held in Gananoque, Ontario, Canada at a later date.
