Shawn Elizabeth Barnhill, age 39 passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. She was born on June 9, 1983 to Carol Knott Jackson and Richard Durwood Barnhill.
She was preceded in death by her parents and Todd Barnhill (Angie).
She is survived by her brother Tanner Jackson, Stephanie Sykes (Neil), Shannon McCraw (Mike), and Sabrenna Jolly (Ken) and many other extended family members including her precious miniature horses Patches and Buster.
Shawn earned an associates degree at Wake Technical Community College and certificates in child care. She enjoyed cooking, puzzles, and especially arts and crafts. She was a faithful friend to others and we will miss her generous, fun-loving spirit.
A visitation for Shawn will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 Southeast Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511, followed by a memorial service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
