Robert Leslie Palmer, age 78, of Cary, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022. Robert was born November 7, 1943 in Catskill, New York to the late James E. Palmer and Marcella A. Palmer. He was the second oldest of eight children. Five siblings preceded him in death, James Palmer, Janice Palmer, Marcella Palmer, Dennis Palmer, and David Palmer.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Robert "Robbie" Palmer Jr.
Bob leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Nanny Palmer; children, Erika and Thomas; sisters, Peggy J. Palmer and Lorraine V. Palmer; grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends.
A viewing and receiving of friends for Robert will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 Southeast Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511. Closed casket receiving of friends will begin at 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
