Pei Ying Yao

It is with great sadness the family of Mrs. Pei Ying Yao announces her passing on Saturday, February 8, 2014, after a short illness. Mrs. Yao was born in Cheng-Du, Sichuan China, eighty-nine years ago. She immigrated to Cary, North Carolina in 1977.

Mrs. Yao is preceded in death by her husband, Bo Lang Yao. She is survived by her five children: James Yao of Raleigh, Shau Chin Sun of Cary, Shey Harris of Cary, William Yao of Cary, and Scott Yao of Montgomery, Alabama. Mrs. Yao will be missed by her thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 11am Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511. Entombment will follow the service at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-8pm Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Yao will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
