Pauline Meades

She was a fine water colorist, gourmet cook, calligrapher, gardener, dressmaker; whatever she turned her hand to she did superbly well.

Pauline is survived by her husband of 62 years, Kenneth G. Meades; their three children: Alan Meades (Carmen), of New Jersey, Teressa Lyn Waszkowski (John) and Sandra Hartquist (Scott), all of North Carolina; her five grandchildren: Ian, Andrew, Katrina, Derek and Drew; and brother: Maurice Day, of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Peter Day, of London.

A Celebration of Pauline’s Life will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Waltonwood Retirement Community – 750 SE Cary Parkway, with reception to follow until 3:00 PM.
