Patricia Watson Banks

Pat had a career as a Registered Interpreter for the Deaf, working for the Food and Drug Administration, many musical theater productions, and participated in various Church deaf ministries throughout the years. She also was a Real Estate Agent, working for Merrill Lynch Realty. She was a member of Cary First Baptist Church and had a passion for teaching sign language, deaf ministry, and Kay Arthur’s Precept Bible Studies.

She was preceded in death by her parents Cecil Watson and Alta Watson Boyce, her brothers, Buddy and Mickey Watson, and her husband Gordon Banks.

She is survived by her children Amy Banks Elliott (Don) and Kevin Banks (Dana), her grandchildren Tyson, Erin, Abigail, and Carson, her nieces and nephew Pam Banks Miller, Trace Banks, Kim Watson Poteat, Michele Watson Freels, and Jamie Watson. And a host of dear family and friends who meant so much to her.

A Visitation for Patricia will be held Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 Southeast Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511. A Funeral service will occur Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 11:00M, 200 Southeast Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511. A Committal service will take place at Wake Memorial Park following services located at 7002 Green Hope School Rd, Cary, NC 27519.
