Mary, I just learned today that you had passed away. When we were at Nortel in Documentation, both you and Bill were such good support during those times.  You were always a wonderful role model and after Brent Parisen emailed all the other challenges you faced, but never waivered...published books, learned foreign languages.  Wow, you are so impressive and I think your life was too short. I would have liked to have talked with you again. Jessica, I am so sorry you had to lose your mother so soon. She was wonderful and I expect her daughter is just as wonderful.  Take care, Helen

I am so sad to get this this news.  Earth has lost a wonderful person and Heaven has gained a new angel.

Mary gave me one of the most precious gifts I've ever received: a Bible with a leather cover with my name embossed in gold on the front. I appreciated it so much because I knew it came from her heart. Such a beautiful woman with a beautiful soul, always willing to listen or share a laugh. I will miss her.

So sad.  Both Mary and her husband Bill worked for me a short time when I was a their manager at Nortel Networks.

I will always have fond memories of Mar's smile and wonderful personality.

I knew Mary from choir and enjoyed talking to her.  May our Lord comfort her family and friends with sweet memories and His promise of heaven. May He carry you through the coming days.  Heaven will be perfect--no more pain, no more sorrow, no more tears, no more night, no more goodbyes.

Such a beautiful woman inside and out. It was an honor singing with Mary in the choir. My prayers of peace and comfort go to the family and I look forward to singing with her in heaven!

I am very sorry for your loss.  I knew Mary from church through EE (Evangelism Explosion).  She was a very sweet person.  She became a very good friend. Because of her faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour I know that she is in Heaven.

I have many good memories of Gail while growing up.  Her brother John and I were best friends and of course there was Debbie too.  I remember the last time I saw her was probably back in 1974 or sometime right after I joined the Navy and essentially left Roxboro, NC for good.  Never saw her down or in anything but a happy mood and laughed when she posed once wearing her new white cowgirl boots and twirling her baton.  Life is just way too short!!!  My condolences to all!  She was like a big sister I never had !

I loved talking to Mary in the choir and missed her when she left.  She was such a sweet spirit and very calm and beautiful.  Carolyn Dillon

There are many things I remember about your mom.  First was her laughter. It was such a sweet sound and her sense of humor was a delight.  She always felt things very deeply; it could be sadness or joy, but she was all there 100%.  She shared many of her writings with me and I was amazed at her ability to capture those feelings in words.  Mary was a good friend with a good voice and I will miss her.  I will forever be grateful to God that He allowed our paths to cross and I have great joy knowing I will see her again one day!

Mary was a sweet lady whom I enjoyed getting to know while she sang in the church choir.  We had a lot of laughs together and was sorry to see her leave. Knowing she is in God's heaven is comforting.

Your mom was a real comfort to be after I was diagnosed with colon cancer back in 2008. She took me to a few appointments and spent the day with my parents at the hospital when I had surgery. Her encouraging words and sweet persona definitely left an imprint on my life. She was also one of the best dressed ladies I knew.  I'm just so sad that I lost touch with her and didn't know she was sick, but find comfort in knowing she's singing hallelujahs in heaven's choir.

Mary was a sweet Lamb of God,..and I so enjoyed singing with her in choir..beautiful lady'..beautiful soul'..I give you Psalm 8 in recognition of her Love for the One who Loved her with His Blood..Jesus!

Your Mom was a sweet lady that I enjoyed singing with in CBC choir and having lunch with at Fiesta Mexicana.  She will be missed.

Your mom was a sweet, kind soul who never seemed to meet a stranger.  When I would go out on EE visits, she seemed to have somehow already talked to that person.  I enjoyed the seminary trips we took together and the meals shared. Jessica, you were a loving, devoted daughter to her and gave her great comfort, especially in these last few difficult years. She is now home with our Lord, where there is no more sickness or sorrow.

I loved Gail and am so sorry she has passed. Extra hugs to Jess and Gails family. She will be missed. Such a beautiful person. God bless you

My friendship with Mary grew stronger the last couple of years she lived in Shepherds Vineyard.  Although her health declined, her spirit and mind remained strong.  Mary, I will miss your beauty, wisdom, and faith.  You will always have a place in my heart.  Love to you always.
