Jillian Rebecca Gee

Jill was born January 24th 1978 in Raleigh, NC but grew up in Rock Hill, SC. She graduated from Northwestern High School in 1996 and the University of South Carolina in 2000. She earned her PHD in Anatomy and Neurobiology from the University of Kentucky in 2006. After several research positions, Jill settled into medical writing and editing. She was employed by Medthink Communications in Raleigh and later Synchrony Medical in Philadelphia, Pa. Jill enjoyed spending time with family and friends. One of her favorite pastimes was playing and working with her dogs Kelpie and Roxy. She enjoyed being in nature, enjoying hiking and visiting natural areas. One of her favorite places was Cumberland Falls in Kentucky.

Jill is survived by her parents, Roger and Mary (Nita) Gee of Rock Hill, SC; a brother, Stephen and his wife, Kashelle Lockman of Iowa City, IA; and a niece, Kailey Gee also of Iowa City.

A celebration of Jill's life will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at the residence, 1104 Castalia Drive, Cary, NC 27513.
