Yeah Yeah Mr. Uncle Carlo (Gian)  Zollo  My love you left us me way to soon. I know you are in heaven in peace no more suffering pain. So tell me how is heaven?  Tell me my brother something I can do for you and or your family? Let me know so when I  got the news of your passing it took me back when Grandpa passed on 2- 15 - 91. It's like yesterday all over again I JUST don't want be here right now I'm grief stricken. Can't see we have so much more to do talks studying the faith seeing each other your new house my house I've been there over 15 years. I hope you forgive me for the last 2 months I WANTED TO CALL YOU I was giving you and family space not knowing how so you were suffering I thought you were fine as I write this I'm so hurting I guess maybe and M.Z. J.F.Z Bobby don't know how much I love you all and always will regardless what happens. So I guess I was planning on coming down this winter 2023 so now what if I come down will the others be cool with that I would love to see everyone also Brain Danile  etc... I know you know this All the times I came down to NYC Grandpa's  all those crazy summers hoildays  me and my crazy nutting ways driving down a 1 way st. Jumping off moving cars chasing cars. Taking Renee Meatloaf and Aunt Maria to the disco's the spread of food your mom  made to die for. Gramps and her always fight that's was the best. The penny candy store down the street. In the early 80's LAKE GEORGE THE BEST. Nickel poker all those talks at the table 1 of my all time fav's things to do. Late night Mr. Softy You and the boys taking me to Shae stadium to see the Reds METS what a blast so much fun you all took such good care of me it was fun being so spoiled the stuff I got away with Lena and Corrado  will never know when we got 4:30 OR 5am to go fishing just the 3 of us I recall those doughnuts they were so good. Dear Zollo familia, 
I often wondered what our Lord meant by humility towards others… Carlo taught me and all who knew him about this important  virtue. It breaks my heart your brother has passed. It seems unlikely …as he was doing better … then not. I will always remember his kindness and love for his family, seeing him at mass all these years. Always with a rosary. Your brother to me was an example of our faith. Being Italian I’m teary writing this, I’m so so sorry for your loss, and you all will be forever in my prayers as you say goodbye to him. He meant a lot to the st Michaels gang… that lil group has “ been thru it” together in prayer.  . But our blessed mother will guide us as we grieve and we pray  that you all  find  comfort in knowing he is in his forever peaceful home with the angels and saints, making room for us to join him.

Carlo taught my Lisa and I how to make meatballs. His secret wasn't slightly-stale bread; it was love.

We will always remember the barbeques at Carlo's house in Cary.  Always good food and lots of fun.  We will miss you, may you always be in peace,  Your friends, Rose & Joe

Carl was a good man and a fine friend to all.   May he be in peace consoled in Jesus's arms.
