Gary was born on November 11th, 1954, in Richmond, VA, to Thomas West and Frances Lee Elliott Della.
Gary was preceded in death by both parents.
Gary is survived by his wife, Donna Della; daughter, Emily Della; stepson, Andrew Swailes; sister, Rebecca Della; nephews, Hunter Brown, Elliott Brown and Steven Carter; nieces, Sianna Brown and Carolyn Hall.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 28th, 2016, at 3:00 pm, at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary. A visitation will take place prior to the service, from 2:00 - 3:00 pm.
