She passed into the arms of the Lord Feb 19,2020 after a courageous two year battle with brain cancer. Beth was known for her positive spirit and loving heart. She was a gifted artist who touched the lives of many through her paintings and teachings. She loved her tennis and especially her tennis friends, traveling, gardening, motorcycling, but most of all she loved her family. She always had a positive attitude that brought light into the lives of others. She was completely dedicated to her husband and sons, and especially to her mom, dad, and sisters. She had the biggest, loving heart a mom, daughter, wife, or friend could have.
Beth suffered greatly during her fight to survive but never let on just how hard it was, preferring to quietly keep moving ahead. We are extremely grateful to her medical team at the Duke Brain Tumor Center. The level of care, compassion, and efforts made by all who came into contact with her not only extended her life, but but increased her resolve to live it fully. She never gave up!
Beth is survived by her husband (Ken), sons (Mitchell and Philip), mother (Della), sister (Martha), nephews (Robert, Russell, Richard Gingras, Kieran and Edward Reece), brothers-in-law (Bill Tomko, Richard Gingras), sisters-in-law (Karen Tomko, Michelle Reece), as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins whom she loved greatly. She was predeceased by her father (D.C. Holden), and sister (Vicki).
