Donna Uhl Downes

Born in Rolla, MO, she was the daughter of Robert and Pauline Uhl. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Tim Downes, son Matthew and his wife Meghan, and daughter Kristen. Also, she is survived by six granddaughters; Alex, Riley, Samantha, Shannon, Lilly and Rose. In addition, she is survived by her brother Steve and his wife Beth, and mother and father in law, Faye and Robert Downes. She is supported by an extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her family will forever be indebted for the way she devoted her life to being there for anything and everything we ever needed. Her strong will and infectious smile will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She gave to others without ever asking anything in return.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandma, daughter, sister and aunt. All who knew her are truly blessed.

A memorial service will be at 11 am Friday, April 18, 2014 at Genesis United Methodist Church in Cary. The family will greet friends following the service at the church. A private inurnment will be in Wake Memorial Park in Cary.
