Calvin “Cecil” Pope, age 66, of Cedar Creek Drive, died Sunday, January 7, 2018 at his residence.
Born in Dunn, NC he was the son of the late Calvin and Grace Noble Pope. Mr. Pope was a very talented musician and an extraordinary entertainer. He was the co-founder of Cary Clean Team, Inc. and was well respected as a business owner in the community. He will be greatly missed by his fellow employees and customers.
Survivors include his loving wife Deb; son, Joshua Pope; and his daughter, Jessicah Pope and her husband, Christopher Bolton.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary.
There will be a Celebration of Calvin’s and Life Jam Session from 3:00 PM till 7:00 PM on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Kildare Farms Racquet & Swim Clubhouse, 300 Pebblecreek Dr., Cary, NC 27511.
