Caryl, you will be in my thoughts today as you say goodbye to Mom.  Like I said earlier, sometimes life sucks.  Just take comfort that she is at peace. Please say goodbye for me.  (I don't know where you found the photos, but, oh my gosh! some of them really brought back memories of her (and Dad) when you lived up here.  A couple of them were even taken in the  dining room on Pine Street!   And did I see her beloved Rosey the Beagle in one?)

Dawn and family, We loved seeing Mrs. Klemm when we went shopping and she loved to hear about how much John enjoyed Dawn. Her face would light up and she always spoke very lovingly of Dawn. To the Klemm family, Please accept my deepest sympathies.  During my tenure as manager of the Kmart in Cary Bertha was one of my "main stays".  She was always one of those I could always count on when things got tough.  She was one of the most dependable people that has ever worked for me.  She always had a kind word and she never missed a chance to dote on her granddaughters; who I know she loved dearly.  Bertha was truly a fine individual.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief.  May your memories bring you comfort.

Dear Family, I am terribly sorry for your loss.  I remember Bertha from all our time together at Kmart and always found her to have a helping hand, a kind ear, and a tender heart.  I never hesitated to turn to her if I needed to talk about something.  You are in my prayers as you go through this time of trial.  Please know that God is watching over you even as He welcomes Bertha to his side now and she will watch over you as you continue your life here.
