Ann was a graduate of Cass High School. She retired at age 62 from E-Z Mills as a seamstress and later worked at Hickory Ham in Kennesaw. Ann was the last living charter member of First Congregational Methodist Church, today known as LifePoint Church. Ann’s faith in the Lord was very strong and accepted Him as her personal Savior at a young age. She loved her church family and was always willing to serve in any capacity. Ann’s service to others did not stop at her church, she was always helping others that were in need, from driving to doctor appointments to helping clean homes. She enjoyed being a housewife and Mother and enjoyed working in yard with Red. She also enjoyed riding motorcycles with Red, traveling and experiencing Red’s miliary reunions. She loved her family and spending time with them was a priority for her. She loved her visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was proud to be called “Granny Ann”. Ann loved animals, one of her greatest joys was her cat Sambo and her granddog Bryson.
The family would like to thank Affinis Hospice and Manor Lake Assisted Living for going above and beyond in caring for Ann in her final days. She loved everyone there and they were like family to her.
