Nancy Caroline McDaniel

Nancy was a loving mother and grandmother who was very family oriented. She enjoyed creating special memories with her family, especially her grandchildren. Known by many as “Granny”, she often held family dinners at home and was the one that brought everyone together. Granny taught them how to give and also how to love. She was a very loving woman who enjoyed every moment raising her family.

Throughout her life, she enjoyed shopping, spending time cooking and decorating her home. Granny was very strong in her faith and loved the Lord. She also enjoyed being a member of the Acworth First Baptist Church.

Along with her father Julian Dobbins and mother, Lucille Dobbins, Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Loomis “Mac” McDaniel; daughter, Vicki Standford and granddaughter, Amy Winn.

She is survived by her son, Michael McDaniel; daughters, Patricia McDaniel and Pamela Colston; grandchildren, Christina Davis, Russell Smith, Jeff May, Chasity Choran, and Aleigha Gibson.

A Celebration of Life to honor Nancy McDaniel will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home at 1:00pm. She will be laid to rest next to her late husband, Loomis McDaniel immediately following the service at Rolling Hills Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Owen Funeral Home.
