Mattie Faye Smith

Mattie Faye Smith, (92) of Cartersville, GA passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 22, 2019. Mrs. Smith was married to Conrad A. Smith, Jr. (C.A.) until his death in 1994. She was a devoted member of Rowland Springs Baptist Church. Faye retired from Knights Mercantile with over 30 years of service.

Faye is preceded in death by her husband, Conrad (Ca) Smith; Sister, Bonnie Colson; parents, Oscar and Myrtle Cater.

Faye is survived by her sister, Delia L. Johnson of College Park, Ga, beloved nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Faye was extremely fond of hunting and fishing with her husband, and she loved to travel.

The family is especially grateful for the loving care and friendship which Judy Eddy and her dear family gave to Faye.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at Eleven o'clock in the morning on Friday, the twenty seventh of September, 2019 at Rowland Springs Baptist Church with pastor Joseph Ringwalt officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cartersville, GA.
