Mary Maxine Mullinax

Mrs. Mullinax was born on July 22, 1942 in Cartersville, GA, daughter of the late Lee Andrew Evans and Bessie Lucille Towe Evans. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Billy Leroy Jenkins and their Daughter Claudia Darlene Jenkins Moore and second husband, J.C. Mullinax Also her Brother and Sister Herman and Linda Evans. Mrs. Mullinax was a true and faithful servant of the Lord and a proud long-time member of Young St. Baptist Church, She loved Her Church family dearly. She was a retired School Bus Driver with Bartow County for over 35 years. She was a loving wife, mother, mima and caregiver to many people. She blessed everyone whom she came in contact with. Survivors include her son, Ricky (Robin) Jenkins; daughter, Lisa (Michael) Rodgers and grandchildren, Shonna (Tony) Frank, Misty (Clint) Blassengame; great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Samuel and Anabelle Frank, Taylor, Cason and Paisley Blassengame; and special niece, Tonya Whitener Smith.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, the 4th of January 2021, in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Collumn and Rev. Reggie Nations officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Cassville Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Ricky Jenkins, Michael Rodgers, Jimmy Evans, Darrell Evans, Jason Evans, Scott Templeton, Joe Land and Tony Pope.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Frank, Clint Blassengame, Jamie Evans, Timothy Evans, and Jeremy Evans.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from four o’clock in the afternoon until seven on Sunday, the 3rd of January, 2021 and Second Visitation from Noon to 2 pm on Monday the 4th at Owen Funeral Home.
