Mary Evelyn Boston

Mrs. Boston was born September 14, 1934, in Calhoun, the daughter of the late, Bonnie Dealva (Grisham) and Malcomb Coleman Pritchett. She loved taking care of children and being a homemaker and was a member of Northside Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bobby D. Boston, her mother in law, Lillie Boston, a daughter, Ann Chastain and her husband, Roger, brother, Sonny Pritchett, sisters, Carolyn Jones and Betty West and grandchildren, Keisha Wimpy and Stephanie Pierce.

Surviving are her children, Jerry L. Boston of Cartersville, Stanley R. Boston and his wife Kathy of Rydal. grandchildren, Lisa Kilgore (Scott), Michael Chastain, Stanley Robert Boston, eight great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, a sister, Barbara Pritchett Clark and her husband Paul of Calhoun, brothers in law Bobby Jones of Cartersville, Bobby West of Adairsville and niece and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 9, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Parham officiating.

Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Paul Clark, Jackie Cooper, Malcom Pritchett, Scott Pierce, Scott Kilgore and Michael Chastain, Russell Jones and Todd Jones.

Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
