Mamie “Edna” Wynn passed away peacefully at home, Sunday, June 5th, 2022. She was born on August 26, 1929. She was the loving wife of Rev. Tatum Wynn for 59 years. She was a faithful member of Etowah Valley Baptist Church.
Edna was, also, preceded in death by her parents, William Comer Arnold and Willie Bell Ross Arnold, her sister, Ruth Tidwell, her brothers, William Arnold, Clarence Arnold, Billy Arnold and C.J. Arnold and their spouses (excluding Billy’s wife Madelyn), and her husbands’ siblings and spouses.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Madelyn Arnold, a multitude of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Edna was retired from Spring City/E-Z Mill where she worked as a seamstress. She and her husband owned and operated a chicken and cattle farm. She loved entertaining her family and friends in her home. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and she loved attending and serving at Etowah Valley Baptist Church.
A Celebration of Life service will be held this Friday, June 10th, at 3pm, at Owen’s Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robby Chastain officiating. The family will receive visitors from 2pm to 3pm. Interment will follow at East Side Cemetery in Adairsville, Ga. 30103
