Sweet Soft spoken Gail with a ready smile or sweet laughter. Gail was a Stylist at King and Queen Salon for a brief time. Her goal was to teach and this she did.

I just found out yesterday that you left this Earth. And it still don't seem real. I was one of her students at cvtc. Even after I graduated from cosmetology school we still stayed connected with each other. It didn't matter where we were we would talk. She always gave me a hug and told me she loved me and I knew she meant it. We were probably one of her most rambunctious classes that she endured while teaching cosmetology. But we always gave her her respect and she would listen if you had a problem. You will forever be missed never forgotten and forever cherished. I will always love you Ms Gail. R. I. H. 

I am very sad to hear of Gail’s passing. She was a wonderful and loving teacher. One of my favorites! I am praying for her family. We called her “Hendi.” AHS CLASS OF 83

She was one of my favorite teachers and best cheerleader coach. She always made you feel like she was your friend and always wanted the best for her students.  May God be with you all in these hard times to continue sharing all the love she had for you all ,Love and Prayers

Mrs. Gail Henderson, or Hendi, as we all knew her, was a ray of sunshine every day of high school. She was a wonderful cheer coach but she was more like our mom away from home. She loved each one of us dearly and we loved her. My prayers and condolences  to the family. AHS Class of ‘87

I worked with Gail at CVTC years ago albeit on different campuses.  However, I had the great pleasure of traveling with Gail and Don around the southeast attending our Bulldog games.  Great memories of a lovely lady with a marvelous sense of humour.  Go Dawgs to one of the best and peace be with Don and family.

Gail was a classy lady.  She was a great instructor and a mentor to her students. I worked with Gail for many years at CVTC /GNTC and it was always a pleasure --  she knew her stuff.  She will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

What a wonderful lady. I'm not sure she ever had a bad day. She loved AHS especially her cheerleaders. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Class of 85.

I will always fondly remember Mrs Henderson. She was a wonderful teacher, who not only taught cosmology,  but many great life lessons that have stuck with me through the past 34 years. AHS Class of 1986.

We had some great times at Adairsville Hiigh School prayers. For the family u will be missed Mrs Gail  love u 

Don and family,  we were so shocked and saddened when we heard about Gail passing.  Growing up, Gail always seemed closer than a second cousin, and I always looked forward to her and her mothers visits.  We had so much fun the year they went on vacation with our family. Good memories were made.

Please know that you all will be in our thoughts and prayers as you go through the next several days, and the days ahead. May God give you comfort and peace during this time of loss.

I am so very sorry to learn of Gail's passing.  Gail was a close friend for several decades.  Our mutual love of our Dawgs led our families to share many good times attending UGA games in Athens and across the South.  We followed the Dawgs from Lexington to Baton Rouge, from Oxford to Jacksonville.  Working with Gail at CVTC/GNTC was a blessing.   We proved that great friends can successfully work together.   Gail's students loved and respected her.  She, along with her friend and teaching partner Barbara Wilson, helped hundreds of students pass the state Board exam and have rewarding careers in cosmetology. My prayers for comfort are with Don, Marnie, Julie and the grandchildren.  

Gail was my second Mom during my high school years. Her laugh was infectious and her smile was contagious. There was never a dull moment. She had a heart of gold and a sparkling personality. I love her very much and I will forever. My heart is hurting so deeply. My prayers are with the family as they must move on with life. Gail is smiling down on you and giving you strength.
