Donald Eugene Morris

Mr. Morris was born February 8, 1967 in Floyd County, a son of the late Freddie W. Morris.

A lifelong resident of Bartow County, Donald was a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church and a commercial electrician. He was an avid knife collector and historian, especially enjoying stories of the civil war.

Preceded in death by his father, Rev. Freddie W. Morris, he is survived by his mother, Linda E. Morris, his brother, David G. Morris, of Rydal, his fiancée, Cathy Keith, of Rydal. Tynus Keith and Adrienne Keith, also survive.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 P.M. Saturday, August 10, 2013 from the Oak Hill Baptist Church, with Rev. Reggie Temples and Rev. James Surratt officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mike Clark, Sam Patel, Roger Moss, Randall Brock, Michah Morris and Corey Clayton. Honorary pallbearers will be Hugh Tom Elrod, J.R. Elrod and Jim McCutcheon.
