contracted Covid-19 and was unable to survive this horrible virus.
Dennis was born and raised in Ft. Dodge, Iowa. He was the only child of Harold and Noel Jones. He married his high school sweetheart, Mary Jo and this October would have been their 60th wedding anniversary. Dennis was an Army veteran, but spent most of his career in the retail business. He and his family moved to Naples, Fl in 1976. He lived there until he retired in Euharlee, Georgia in 2006. He enjoyed many hobbies over the years including boating, jogging, and running in the New York Marathon. He enjoyed tinkering in his garage, riding his motorcycle and later in life, enjoyed line dancing. He was a faithful and active member of the Catholic Church his entire life. He was a devoted husband, loving father, adored grandfather and great grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was genuinely one of the good guys.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Mary Jo Jones. His children, David (Judy) Jones of Naples, Fl, Sue (Bert) Warner of Naples, Fl, and Kelly (Jerry) Brown of Cape Coral, Fl.
