He was born on April 22, 1954 in Dayton, TN to the late Regional and Lois E. Hardin Headlee.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Steve Headlee and Elmer "Ed" Welch.
Chris is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Lois S. Headlee; brother, John V. Welch; 2 nieces, Crystal Reese, Jean Bunn Headlee and 1 nephew, Josh Headlee.
Red was a very loving devoted husband, brother and brother-In-Law. He loved spending time with family and friends. he loved and enjoyed family get-togethers and cookouts. He loved dogs and other animals. He enjoyed watching movies and enjoyed history. He always loved helping anyone out he could when he was able. He worked in the moving business for North American Van Lines for 18 many years and Jake Marshall Heating and Air in Chattanooga.
Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 11-2pm.
