Charles Edward Jefferson

Mr. Jefferson was born on May 21, 1931 in Cartersville, GA 30120, son of the late Rufus Jefferson and Ada Ingram Jefferson.

Mr. Jefferson proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was the owner operator of Jefferson Service Station in Cartersville, GA for many years and also retired from the Bartow County Sign Department after ten years of dedicated employment.

Mr. Jefferson is preceded in death by his son; Charles Matthew Jefferson; brothers, Bud and Austin Jefferson; sisters, Dorothy Stokes and Ann Taff.

He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-four years, Sara Ingram Jefferson; son, Mark Jefferson; daughter, Wanda Coleman; grandchildren, Jeff (Becca) Coleman and Michelle Coleman; great-grandchildren, Addison Coleman and Bella Tucker; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at eleven o'clock in the morning on Tuesday, the 21st of May, 2019 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Coleman, Rev. Danny Willis and Rev. Ronnie Cline officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from three o'clock in the afternoon until seven on Monday, the 20th of May, 2019 at Owen Funeral Home.
