Brian Joel Phillips

Brian is survived by his mother, Louise Phillips, half-brother, Craig (Sylvia) Wilbanks; half-sister, Deann Anglin; special aunt, Elizabeth Posey; special cousins, Lori Kinsell, Amy Newman; second cousins, Stacy, James, Joshua, Camryn and Alexa.

Brian loved Atlanta Braves, Nascar, Atlanta Hawks, animals and the outdoors. He attended Pebblebrook High School and South Cobb High School, where he played baseball. Brian also played semi-professional baseball after high school. He graduated with a BBA in Accounting from Kennesaw State University in May of 2012.

Brian is remembered as a loving, kind man with a gentle soul who dearly loved his family, friends and pets. He was very patriotic and loved his great country. Brian also loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and listening to classic rock.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Josh James officiating. The interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cartersville. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Owen Funeral Home.
