Betty Jean Ledford

Ms. Ledford was born September 5, 1943 in Bartow County, Georgia, daughter of the late Lee Alexander Ledford and Ruby Estelle Darnell Ledford. For a number of years she worked at Cartersville Undergarment. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Martha King and Effie Black; brothers, Charlie Ledford, Ernest Ledford, Sr. and Walter Ledford.

Survivors include a sister & brother-in-law; Mary Lee & James Smith; nieces, Deborah Lumpkin and Diane Anderson; nephews, Fred King, David King, Ernest Ledford, Jr., Michael Smith and Danny Black; sisters-in-law, Tina Ledford and Yvonne Ledford; numerous great nieces and great nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon October 7th at 2:00 P.M. in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Eastridge officiating. Interment will follow in the Cassville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Katrena Lumpkin, Kimberly Lumpkin, Tiffany Tindell, Christy Hernandez, Chris Black, Brandy Pace and Jonathan Ellington. Honorary pallbearers include Michael Smith and Michelle King.
